Seven Stories is the only exhibition space in the UK dedicated to the celebration of British children’s literature. Our changing programme of exhibitions is designed to spark the imaginations of children and adults, and inspire exciting new work.

There’s always a choice of creative activities on offer throughout Seven Stories. Join in with dressing-up and dramatic fun, creative writing and wordplay, illustration and craft activities.

Hear exciting stories new and old for all the family, as you travel to far off places, who knows who you’ll meet! Plus under fives and their families can enjoy Storyparty and Bookworm Babies during term time. (pre booking and payment is essential call 0845 271 0777 ext 715 for details.)

Author Events
These events are an opportunity for you to meet an author or illustrator, explore how they work to create their books and listen as they talk you through their inspiration, ideas and favourite stories. Author and illustrator events are often followed by a book signing in the Bookshop.

Bookshop
The Seven Stories Bookshop is one of the largest independent specialist children’s bookshops in Britain. Explore over 50,000 titles and talk to our friendly, knowledgeable staff about recommendations and any other queries you may have. Admission to the bookshop is free.

School / Group Visits
